Let me start by telling you who I am. My name is Joe Wigton, officially it is the Rev. Joe Wigton. I grew up on a farm near Perrysville and I attended all 12 years in the Loudonville-Perrysville School system, graduating from LHS in 1975.

Editor: Referring to the article in the Loudonville Times on March 7 of Loudonville Village Council meeting, I am wondering how many of the residents who were asked about the planned marijuana plant have been held at gunpoint, taped, tied up and left to die?
Editor: National Ag Day is an excellent time to look at a few of the many steps my fellow farmers have taken to protect the state's waterways.

The Salvation Army of Loudonville-Perrysville District wishes to thank all the area churches for their volunteers who helped make the Red Kettle donation a great success. We also thank Stakes IGA for allowing us to place our kettle there.
Editor: The Perrysville Association of Churches extends a heartfelt thanks to you all for the generous contributions of food, meat, paper products, fruits, vegetables, bread, books, toys and money which the organization distributed to those in need this holiday season.
Editor: On behalf of the Loudonville Church Women, I would like to thank our community for helping make our Day of Sharing event a success. Groceries were given to 126 families, new toys to 443 children, comforters to 34 families and Bikes for Kids gave out 32 bikes.
Editor: I would like to send a little news home to Loudonville. Some of you will remember Jim and June Moss, who pastored the Nazarene Church about 35 years ago. I have had the pleasure of their friendship for quite some time as they had retired to Circleville, where I live.
Julia Jarvis Sally, 67, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Plain City on Nov. 22, 2016. Julia was born in Mansfield, spent her early childhood in Loudonville and graduated from Pickerington High School, Pickerington.
Editor: I'm writing this letter to let people know that there are still "angels" out there among us. I met one of these "angels" on Friday, Nov. 25 at Stakes IGA store in Loudonville in line at the check-out, when he paid for my items along with his own.

Trinity Community Church in Loudonville would like to thank the community for its generous support of the ice cream and pie social held Labor Day weekend. The event raised the largest sum of donations in our 22 years of hosting the social.
